As the name suggests, only Light Side units (Luke, Han Solo, Rey, Chewbacca, etc.) can be used in the Light Side campaign.
Similarly, only Dark Side units (Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Kylo Ren) are allowed to be used in the Dark Side Campaign.
Any combination of Light/Dark units can be used in Mod and Cantina battles.
